Oakland Athletics won SEVEN games in a row and shafted the horrendous Kansas City Royals to the worst record in the league ;)

Meanwhile LA Angels won two straight vs Rangers on the road and it seems like their season might not be finished before the All-Star Break for a change

To add about the Aʻs, their fans pulled off the "reverse boycott" last night, filling a normally empty stadium with supporters. Quite a sight. Their loud chanting even caused the Oakland pitcher to believe his PitchCom device was broken.

In the end Angels beats Rockies 25-1!  They set franchise record for most runs (25) and hits (28) in one game :p

Their previous record was 24 runs vs Blue Jays in 1979.

Arguably the most exciting player in baseball right now, Elly de la Cruz, stole 3 bases tonight within the span of two pitches including home plate.

Speaking of big... Joey Gallo manages to loop a bunt beyond first base   Twins still won.

Surprised it didnʻt go over the fence with his power!

The White Sox just donʻt seem to care about playing baseball right now. Really not fun to watch.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
