yep, also Artistic gymnastics has plenty of streams meaning you can select every apparatus you want to watch. That is some huge coverage.

so except Archery Ranking rounds and Shooting qualifiers everything else of the games will be streamed on eurosport player.

now lets hope it will work well

Yeah, this is going to get crazy with the amount of live streams they will have at the same time, and with also a record number of users using ESP, I hope they will be able to handle it.

We have been wondering about the future of ES Player and how it relates to Discovery Plus. Well, seemingly here in Britain ESPlayer is not accepting any more new subs and all new sign-ups are being directed to Discovery Plus instead.  Also, we were wondering if D+ was a new application designed to get rid of the legacy issues that limit the old ES Player as @phelpssays.  Apparently it is indeed a new app & is indeed technically superior.  Anyway, I've signed up for the three day free trial and will have a look to see if it really is better.

One thing I notice already is that the old legacy content that can be browsed and shown on ES player has not been transferred - there is still a content archive but it obviously only began a few weeks ago. So for cycling you can go back and watch the TdF & the Giro Donne, but not anything before that.

Does it look like Discovery Plus will have every stream?

Hey, I wanna buy discovery plus UK subscription for the olympics. But as I am not in the UK I am unable to complete the payment. Is there a way to buy it? and if not can any of you help me? I am willing to pay.

Well, I counted all the Olympic Eurosport Player streams for Day 1 (excluding the ES1 and ES2 streams). There are 228 live streams listed for Day 1.

Science!  :coffee:

Did not realise that you are not in the UK. Where are you? Can you subscribe locally?  Problem is, even if you can arrange payment, the UK version of the app might not work at all where you are.

where do you live now?

if it's a Country where a local version of eurosport player/discovery+ apps are available, you can get that (I'm sure there will be multiple audio tracks in every feed, which makes it the same having the British rather than the Italian or Spanish version, for instance)...

if you're in a place where no Eusp/D+ are available, then you "only" need a vpn and buy your subscription in a Country where they are available...

    • actually, in a short span like in this tournament, it's a lot better to play in 2 consecutive days and keep the daily routine than having a day off the only issue might be the rules about pitching, but this time they don 't have any influence since no Venezuelan pitcher threw more than 39 pitches last night and therefore they are all available tonight  remember that baseball sometimes also plays doubleheaders (with only 30/60 min break between 2 matches) playing in consecutive days is the rule, not an exception for those players
