@JoshMartini007 @intoronto Sean McColl is looking like he’s on great form to qualify for the next Olympics here. I don’t think his speed times are terrible...

His form hasn’t been this good in a while though. Hopefully he’s found that type of form again.

Canadian media have been hyping him as Olympic champ.

Quite interesting that the japanese head coach is from Germany ... :mumble:

well, the sport originated in the Alps...so, it's quite normal to see many coaches and officials coming from the Alpine Nations...

then, mainly thanks to the fact that now only artificial "standard" walls are used, in the last few years luckily the sport developed at almost every latitude, so, now you can find medallists from all over the world...but the "schools" and the traditional climbing Nations are still those in the cradle of the discipline...

Very physical walls in the semifinals. I think the route setters did a great job. Both routes are fun to watch. We may not see any tops, but the routes should definitely differentiate the good and the bad.

Miho Nonaka :JPN decided not to compete in the lead semifinals in order to rest for the combined. She is struggling with minor shoulder injuries though, so I don’t blame her.

    • Bologna is unfortunately is a team for the Conference League, not the Champions League   Juventus are plagued by injuries and are struggling. On top of that they have a terrible schedule in the CL. In their case qualifying for the play-offs would be a success in this season but I'm not sure how many points they will need to do that. Actually they chave 8 points.
