Does the IOC have some sort of power to force said local bakery to do anything? In reality, a local baker in Ireland or the Netherlands or wherever posting it won’t even be noticed. They’re more worried about adidas or nike and the major global marketers Yeah this being against huge companies makes sense, but the IOC wouldn't be the IOC if they didn't make a huge deal about the local car repair shop posting something I wonder what punishment the athlete could get. I mean, surely they can't take away the results, so if an athlete is retiring anyway after the Olympics, what's to stop them?
