also :SWE Michelle Coleman swimming backstroke for Sweden. Was hoping that Sjoestroem would swim the butterfly for Sweden and Coleman would do freestyle

I didn't even notice that!

But I was referring more to who qualifies and who didn't

Well I certainly wasn't expecting Forrester to beat McIntosh in that heat

That was less that one second from Forrester's PB so I wish Forrester had taken it a bit easier.

I think she swam breaststroke in ISL a few of times.

That backstroke's not gonna cut it on the final which is a shame because Sweden always seems to be one leg short in the medley relay.

The back stroke has always been that short leg but with Åstedt they should save a second. I also think L Hansson could do the backstroke which she is good at at least in short course. However I am not sure how much better she would be than Åstedt and If  that and Sjöström on the butterfly would make up for Coleman on Free. I think those options are quite similar.

Overall Canada is looking pretty good in the relay department for 2024. 6/7 are pretty much guaranteed while the men's 4x200m freestyle relay is in an okay position. They may need to come to Doha to secure the spot.
