That is Paige Hareb :NZL 4th attempt to qualify, and she fails.

She competed on WSL, and she was one of the five surfers who could take a quota for last Olympics. She was the 5th in that.

Then, a terrible performance on last continental ISA.

And at last qualify, she lost her spot on last minutes of the last heat. In a direct dispute against Tsuzuki :JPN

Now, she has next ISA Games to finally qualify

Olympic Qualification Summary after Day 6
Oceania: Saffi Vette :NZL has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after Hareb failed to advance from Repechage 6. Billy Stairmand :NZL has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after Butler failed to advance from Repechage 6.
Africa: On the women's side, Sarah Baum :RSA has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after advancing from Repechage 6. On the men's side, disaster struck for Teva Bouchouga :MAR with him placing fourth in Repechage 6 (Needing a third to qualify), therefore the quota will now be reallocated to the next highest-ranked unqualified surfer (As T30 finisher Jordy Smith :RSA will most likely qualify through the WSL Championship Tour)
Europe: Uri Uziel :ISR is the only male surfer currently in the main round (R5) with Dylan Groen :GER (Repechage 7), Gonzalo Gutierrez :ESP (Repechage 7), Kauli Vaast :FRA (Repechage 7), and Frederico Morais :POR (Repechage 7) all still in contention in repechage, with perhaps the strongest surfers coming from France and Portugal. On the women's side,  Rachel Presti :GER, Noah Klapp :GER, Pauline Ado :FRA, Tiara van der Huls :NED, Vahine Fierro :FRA, and Francisca Veselko :POR are the six surfers still competing in main round (R5). France, Portugal, and Germany are the favorites for the quota here.
Asia: Shino Matsuda :JPN has qualified for the 2024 Olympics after Yang failed to advance from Repechage 6. On the men's side, Reo Inaba :JPN, Rio Waida :INA, and Kanoa Igarashi :JPN are all in the main round (R5).
Reallocated Quota: Along with the male surfers above, you also have Cody Young :CAN, Sebastian Hernandez :MEX, Alan Cleland :MEX, Miguel Tuleda :PER, Leandro Usuna :ARG, and Lucca Mesinas :PER all in contention for a spot at the 2024 Olympics.

57 minutes ago, Jose Luis said:

If there is a vacancy for Africa in men, my question is whether the American countries could qualify for that quota place, since the places for America are assigned in the Pan American Games.

It's regardless of continent so I don't see why not.

Waida is out, then the quota goes to :JPN. Igarashi or Inaba will take it.

If Igarashi wins that, and also qualify through WSL, then the quota goes automatically to Inaba

Also, European quota is between :POR:ISR:FRA:ESP one surfer for each. It is gonna be funny to watch
