Two surfers will qualify.

 

For France, it would be a better situation if Pauline and Vahine qualify. Defay already has her spot, so she is ineligible.

 

Anyway, I would say this quota eventually goes to . It is gonna be tough for Noah  beat all french surfers and the other competitors

Yeah, the quotas go to athletes by name

 

Kauili is winning his heat right now. Up this moment he is eliminating Morais . Next heat we will have  and , so at least one of them will advance

Every quota in surfing is nominative *except* the host quota and the two team quotas from the 2022 and 2024 world surfing games.

No, if France qualifies here they lose their host quota, and it gets re-allocated at the 2024 world surfing games.
