No offence, but considering the very few numbers of qualified nations in collective sports (low to 4 in AF), host nations should probably not be granted an automatic sport in these games.

what is the Hansoku ? yesterday Benkhaled won the matche of the Bronze 3-2

but finally the juries gave the win to the Dominican they said by Hansoku  LOL

I agree maybe not so much in invitational sports but in the official sports hosts should at least meet certain objectives, achieve certain results or simply participate in a special tournament to determine if they should play in such a big event. Unfortunetly most of our teams simply are too weak to compete here and only drag the level down

despite being 5 out of 5 in the finals, Iranians managed to win only 1 gold medal ! Poursheib (who had the least chance for gold) finally beat his archrival Araga ! the others mostly lost their lead near the end of the match and of course as usual there were some dubious calls. specially when you are up against Japan

 

so far 2 gold and 4 silver from 6 athletes, few more left in Muaythai, Jujitsu, Snooker and Archery.

not for the haircut LOL but he  broke the nose of the Polish by one forbidden act

Good results for Brazil so far considering these sports don't get a lot of money from the federations (which, I think, is the situation with many nations).

 

For instance, both Beach Handball teams only travelled to Poland thanks to a crowdfunding and even some of the expenses had to be paid by the athletes, which is a shame considering we are the current champions of this event. Hope their investment is worth it.
