Just in case you are not familiar with the situation. Ukraine is being represented here by a bunch of foreigners that have nothing to do with Ukraine (and have probably never even been in Ukraine). Sure, that happens in all sports these days, but these German/Dutch professionals were brought to Ukraine by a criminal who a couple of years ago ended up in jail for corruption and money laundering and what not.

 

And now they will be given an Olympic quota. Unbelieveable.

 

Not that Czech Republic and Hungary deserved it in any way going by their today's performance...

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely?
