Rafa Maciel 1,423 Posted May 31, 2023 #63 Share Posted May 31, 2023 Decent fencing result for Joe Choong to sit in 4th place - if he can keep a clean round in the horse riding, he's got good chance of being in the fight for the Olympic quota. for the women, Kerenza Bryson finished in 10th place - not bad, but probably leaves herself too much to do if she was going to be in the hunt for the quota. Rafa Maciel 1,423 Posted June 2, 2023 #67 Share Posted June 2, 2023 So Joe Choong safely qualifies for this weekend's final but Myles Pillage and Charlie Brown both miss out. Pillage's downfall was his poor fencing results because he is a sub 2 minute swimmer and his run was 11:30. Likewise Charlie Brown's swimming time is on par with Choong and his laser run time was under 11 minutes but again, he had only managed 12 fencing wins.
