Totallympics Awards 2022

lol how on earth does Serbia win the women's category, they didn't even win gold at the nations league (the other major event in 2022). While Canada's hockey team won gold at the Olympics AND World Championships, the only team in history to do that.

People don't care about the nations league, as many teams don't send their best.

No shade, but it's funny that Canada win so many medals here but not gold - and also had a 4th place. Seems familiar :p

Women's ice hockey is a two team race since forever. Even women's volleyball is more competitive than the annual Canada vs USA series :dunno:

Nations League used some reserve rosters like mentioned above.

:SUI Roger Federer

TENNIS

To say that Federer is one of the most successful players of all time is a understatement. Making his ATP debut in 1998, he went to win his first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2003 at age 21, and since then his dominance has been undeniable. He was ranked the number one player in the world for 310 weeks, which includes a record 237 consecutive weeks, winning 103 ATP singles tournaments (the second most of all time) and 20 Grand Slam titles. A four-time Olympian, he won a gold medal in doubles (2008) and a silver in singles (2012), being the flagbearer for Switzerland in Athens and Beijing Games. Having struggled with a knee injury for the past years, Federer played his final professional-level tournament in 2022. The match (his 1750th on the tour) marked the end of an era – one that made sports history.

    • I used to think Johnston(e) - from some place John build (aka stone for building something hehe).   I'm not familiar if Scottish or Irish clans are named after such clan founder or a place?
    • i'm triggered,legitimately thought kennedy 2.0 happened,just way more out of nowhere
    • Perfectly obvious.    Johnson = son of John Johnston or Johnstone = From St John's Town ie Perth in Scotland.
    • Nope. Azu missed out by 0.01. Bromell lost silver by 0.001!
