So happy that Mexico qualified for Tokyo 2020. I'm a fan of their showjumping team since they won the Aga Khan trophy (nation's cup) in Dublin last year where they were amazing

Today's individual event was supposed to be open for top 35 riders, but only 32 will start. Colombian rider got axed at the second inspection. Individual riders from BRA, VEN, URU, DOM withdrew. Peruvian rider got promoted as a reserve.

Yes, they start from zero.

 

Top 20 will qualify for Round B (including all ties for 20th place).

have done well in the first round so far. I hope Dominican Republic can qualify this time. If I remember correctly, they just missed out on qualification in both 2012 and 2016.

IIRC it does not matter for show jumping qualification.

Group D is USA/Canada + English Carribean nations. Group E is all of Latin America.

 

All quotas wlll go to Group E, however...
