Equestrian at the Pan American Games 2019

I got Brazilian VPN just to find their stream not working too... I guess they gave up on broadcasitng show jumping.

Just as well. I don't expect much drama anyway. :MEX:CAN:BRA should qualify.

:CAN Lisa Carlsen posted a good time, but got eliminated afterwards.

And just like that Canada is in serious trouble.

EDIT: Or maybe not. She should still be allowed to start in upcoming team rounds.

ESPN is broadcasting it tomorrow, so I’d imagine it’s the same for everyone else.

Brazilian broadcaster had it listed for today, but nothing appeared once the competition started.

They are not bad, but I don't think they can repeat the surprise from Toronto.

Sometimes, even with the description, they change sports. Up this moment there was not any broadcast from Equestrian in Brazil

    • How wonderful!   I met the national rowing (and beach rowing) coach of EST/LTU/LAT on the way to ice hockey one day, who's Canadian by the way. I also flew home on the same flight as JC Schoonmaker's mom and friends, so we chatted for a bit.
    • Yea I only used transit besides this Uber / bus to the airport and back. All the venues were at the end of the line, so it allowed you to speak with other fans/volunteers etc. I even met Corrine Stoddard's mom after the first session of short track on the way back, and told her to remember our conversation if she won a medal later in the Olympics. We know how that ended up...
    • I used public transit the entire time I was in Milan.   My first day was a doozy, because I had to two flights to reach Malpensa, and then the train into town was delayed, and then I got confused a station and boarded a tram instead of the metro, proceeded to travel in the wrong direction, got off, walked back to the station, found the metro, got off a station early, walked around a kilometer to my hotel, and checked in.   My colleagues mostly took cabs upon arrival, but I deduced to take the frugal approach. That said, I was a true public transit professional by the time I left Milan.   I actually enjoyed my rides to and from venues, because I'd just chat up fans and volunteers from different countries. It helped me learn more about the city too.
