dcro 10,210 Posted May 21, 2016 #111 Share Posted May 21, 2016 If Brazil wins quota in men's kayak today, then the host quota in K1 1000 will go to the next best nation from the 2015 Worlds. And that's Belgium. #banbestmen

dcro 10,210 Posted May 21, 2016 #115 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Brazil in men's K1, Canada in women's K1, Mexico in men's C1. This also means that host quota in K1 1000 goes to Belgium. #banbestmen

mrv86 3,138 Posted May 21, 2016 #117 Share Posted May 21, 2016 Marcos Pulido avoided catastrophe Still one place is too little for Mexico in this discipline... I guess it's time to change the program; eight years ago they were almost at the same level of Canada and Cuba... now we can barely compete with them
JoshMartini007 2,536 Posted May 21, 2016 #118 Share Posted May 21, 2016 The results have Argentina defeating Brazil in men's K1 200m. Also technically Cuba gets first choice on whether they will take the C1 200m or C2 1000m. Mexico will likely get a quota though since Canada will likely keep the C1 1000m quota.
