but still I must pay a tribute to Croatia. such small country being able to be so good in so many team sports (just like Serbia) and even reaching the football world cup final is just epic and absolutely respectable ! dude a 4 million inhabitants country !

France was the best team at this tournament. They had much more difficult path to the final than Croatia, their half of the draw was tougher. Having said that, they weren't better side today and the refferee helped them today. Great run for Croatia, but at the end of the day the best team during this month won the competition.

not everything is about money. for someone who watches sport all the time you should know that. this was probably once in a lifetime opportunity for them to win it all.
