Italian football without thorough reforms is lost and even won`t help winning against Switzerland and playing in 1/4. Our young players must play in the basic lineups of strong teams, just like it was 20 years ago and more. There cannot be a situation where Milan has at most 1 Italian in the starting lineup. Currently, the Italian squad simply lacks quality up front. We used to have, for example, del Piero and Totti and now we have Scamacca and Retegui... This proves our decline.

I hope Luca keeps on playing for the national side. 

The way Italia played they would find it hard against a well organised Swiss side. That one could go to penalties.

The fun part about ITA-CRO is that if Croatian fans didn't keep throwing bottles and cups on the pitch there would have been 6 or 7 minutes of stoppage time instead of 8.
