Someone talk to me here as a casual taekwondo fan. Does Skylar Park have a legitimate shot at a medal here?

I don't know anything about Taekwondo tbh but I would think that she does.

Possible chance. The Taiwan athlete look really good vs Korea. Park has never defeated the Korean. If she wins here, the American might be there, whom she has lost (and by a margin) each and every time. If she can get to the semifinals, all it takes is one more win to guarantee a medal (through winning the semi or the bronze medal match)

Drama in softball: Canada has walked out the field to protest a referee decision surrounding a pitching substitution.

Resolved, umpire reversed their decision.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
