Hey fellow Canucks. I've compiled a list of all of the Canadians competing on Day 1. I can't guarantee I'll have time to make one for every day but I'll try my best.

Canadian W8 looked great, unfortunately going down by a hair to the defending champs.  I think they're definitely a medal threat.  

 

A dominating performance in softball.  Whoever wins in their game against Japan tomorrow will likely fight the US for gold.

Essentially tied for 4th.  I could see that Woods was in a bad spot when the sprint started, boxed in.  Too bad, I thought he was pulling away for the silver when they entered the stadium.  Like I said, there's still the time trial.

I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)  
    • That's what I'd plan as well (except for MelFest), but I also know I am hypocritical enough to still want to watch the show and have a fun evening  
    • Confirmation about the broadcasting rights.   If I'm reading it right, for most of Europe it will now be exclusive to Discovery/Eurosport or whatever brand they use.     For outside Europe, it's on YouTube.     • Got our first competition of the season coming up in Solitude, Utah  this weekend.  Live on Discovery Plus etc, plus also YouTube and the Olympic Channel.  If you are new to the sport, the sprint races on Saturday will be the format you'll find easy to understand.     ISMF   ISMF Skimo - YouTube    
    • Surely. Her first coach now works in russia (and grandma lives in russia according to Sereda). They were in contact and despite of full funding from  the girl decided to become the star of russian propaganda.  As I saw in X: "It took the Russians four years of war to find a relatively well-known sports personality to carry out such a propaganda operation."
