The rules (352.2.2 in this case), aren't making it any clearer neither. Coletta Rydzek was listed on the start list, but Sofie Krehl ended up competing in the 4th leg, instead of Rydzek. So an administrative mistake (because obviously this is not cheating), probably due to a late change, ends up costing them a very well-deserved podium. USA being the lucky ones of the day.
