I've seen plenty of below average curling this week, but Spain seems to be on a whole new level.

In two ends they have sent like 5 stones through the house...

I was about to say the same thing. Its like Spain just picked some random kids and sent them.

Yes, I believe that was their recruitment strategy. It’s not the like the sport is popular in the country. Brazil actually plays better than Spain I think.

Well on the contrary, I was happy when 2012 was asked instead of 2016 :p

I knew 2016 tough :(

It seems these guys are not very good, but yesterday they won against Estonia and they played decently against Poland (6-3 up after the 5th in), so probably they are not the worst team of the competition.

Last year there were 200 players in Spain, but I don't know how many of them were of the right age to participate here. Probably, no more than 10.

It really is shame they’re not broadcasting more events. I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve been able to watch and follow so far. Plus, it seems like there more interest in these games than before. NBC, CBC, Eurosport, Marca Claro are all broadcasting a good amount of the games. It’s just a shame that the OBS refuses to broadcast more than a few events at the YOGs. I don’t get it. If you really wanted to grow the event, you’d make more content available. At least the live timing for this edition is good, so following online is possible, but it’s still not as fun as watching. Hopefully we see more the events in the future, but I fear we’ll see very little in Dakar.

Day 3 Results

EOAhy32XsAEfexW.jpg

Still no medals for our delegation,

nor any Top 10 result today, but a lot of sport passion and fighting spirit was shown from our competing athletes.

Once again for the 3rd day in a row the best result has been achieved by Alpine skier Rebeka Jančová

who today bravely competed in the Giant Slalom achieving a very nice 14th place with starting bib 33.

but I decided to honor in todays results review our 2 ice hockey girls helping their respective teams

to lead the Round-Robin of Women´s NOC´s 3x3 Ice Hockey Tournament after 5 of the 7 rounds

Zuzana Dobiášová is leading with her Team Blue the Round-Robin ahead of team Black including

Nikola Janeková, with 2 rounds still to be played both are already assured to qualify for the Semifinals

I have to apologize, but I’m not able to event preview for tomorrow, so I’m sorry about that. Switching my sleep schedule as taken a bit of toll on me, and I need some time to relax tonight.

Out of curiosity, has anyone been reading the articles I post, or am I pretty much just wasting time with those?
