She had mistakes every single day.

During qualifications, she had a terrible second vault and missed VT finals. In team finals she had a fall off the beam. In the all-around she had a big mistake on bars. In the bars final she fell. In the beam final she fell.

Her mind game is completely off. She came to the Worlds as a superstar and while she's leaving the competition with the most prestigious medal, gold in the all-around, we expected a lot more from her.

Another horrible, horrible final with two random Japanese girls getting medals. The greatest achievement of the medalists was not to fall or have a big balance check. It's been almost 10 years since we had a good World/Olympic final on beam where gymnasts could perform big skills without falling.

That being said, congrats to Ellie Black. Not my favorite routine, but she did it very well and deserved a medal.

During FX final, there was some other music playing in three moments of Rebeca's routine. I don't know if it was distracting to her but it was terrible.

 

EDIT: Rebeca said it didn't affected her, as she already has the routine prepared in her mind and don't worry about outside factors.

Everything was set up from the start for Jessica Gadirova to win gold. No surprises here.

Absolutely disgusting. I hope Great Britain never hosts the World Championships again.

Btw, Rebeca now has world medals in AA, VT, UB and FX, missing only BB (her worst apparatus I think).
