Like I said, there is an outside chance in men's foil.

 

Though, it's not easy at all considering that there is only one quota on offer. Would be a different story if there were four quotas (like in women's foil and men's sabre).

So many upsets in these Qualifying Olympic Tournaments in all four zones! 

Heidemann, Bustamante, Grench, Leleyko, Honeybone,  ecc. all out!

I think heavy psychological pression did a a lot for most of the athletes... Just the most sound and solid succeeded i think.

I guess we had a fair division of quotas here, no country has won more than 1.
