We'll see how bad (or good?) the Beijing downhill will be this season. Hopefully it's not bad, the events at Olympic venues they've had in freestyle skiing / snowboarding have been pretty good so far.

 

Downhill requires natural terrain. Freestyle skiing does not. It's a HUGE difference.

 

China's success in figure skating is simply based off failed gymnasts. They finally found a way how to make them look alright with the skates on.
