also not really impressed by the uniforms, the ladies one looks more like borrowed from the Czechs

Hard to say. Certainly the international audio mix was horribly messed up, might not have been the same in the stadium of course.

You’ve got huge mountains and plenty snow, just need more people willing to suffer life-changing injuries to be on TV.

We need proper funding for winter sports, the sports ministry & our NOC are only focussed on Summer games & sports. Getting more kids into winter sport is never a problem but getting proper funding & raising interest in winter sport is a big problem which can only be initiated by the NOC & sports ministry. 
Whatever little achievement we have in winter sports is solely due to individual athletes perseverance & effort. 
We as a nation are slowly putting efforts to make sports a priority & not just recreational pass time. Hopefully that will translate into participation & results in winter sports too.

She made the Top 30 start list in World Cup after Flachau. It would be rather dumb from her to throw this out of the window by withdrawing important next WC races. Weird for for sure, but completely logical and clever for her.

 

She is already in Jasná right now preparing for the weekend races btw

Yeah, just got a big PB, so…would be maybe different if she was a summer sports athlete, but as you say start position is so crucial in Alpine.
