Yep at this rate they should get them the right to compete under the Russian flag again.  It doesn’t make any difference.  There always will be a double standard if it was a Canadian who had been caught they would have been out without any thoughts.

Jones pulled herself right back in contention with a big win over  Muirhead.

Jones has a really big game on Tuesday night (Canada time) against . If she wins it she’ll be in a great position to make the playoffs.

Final Thoughts

 

Overall an okay day for Canada, we won one medal, but most of the other sports had decent performances in their qualifying rounds, with the exception of 2-man bobsled. We are still in contention for a bronze, but something needs to change for us to have a legit chance. Unsurprisingly, we are in the finals for women's ice hockey. The curling teams had a good day, winning all of their matches, but things are still tight. The men could lose one more match as long as it's not to ROC or else things get very complicated while the women need to win all three of their matches or require many results to go their way.
