The gene tests that our female athletes just completed (Dynacare) at the National Championships to determine that they are female did not comply with the world athletics requirements. They will need to complete another before the September 1 deadline. So athletics Canada is doing everything in its power to get this done before then. France is also in the same situation.

Another PB for Jerome Blake as he takes the men’s 100m title at the NACAC Championships in 9.95!

Silver also for Tatiana Aholou in the women’s 100m hurdles in 13.01, times were slightly slow for the favourites given how decent the field was but well you can’t control that.
