A slalom & parallel slalom, so that would be the first speed event for women there. 1970 was the World Championship edition.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport" Stefan Luitz and possibly other Germans are under investigation by FIS (and WADA) for using prohibited medical equipment (oxygen inhalators which are prohibited by FIS in competition) before the second run in Beaver Creek. If true their results there could be cancelled.

DQ of their results in one competition and then...that's it? In weightlifting or cycling they'd be gone for 2-4 years

Ridiculous to compare what they did to the methods used in weightlifting and cycling. They should be banned for using a method that is not even illegal? Maybe think again ...

Always annoying that Eurosport doesn't have the rights to show races from Switzerland. Oh well, at least German and Swedish television have rights to show Women's Super-G.
