It was weird, he was going back and forth.

 

First, winner gets 100 points. Soon after, like somebody said to him, that the stage gets the winner 50 points, and he mentions that. Then again soon after saying that Falla will need a win, and Nilsson to be 3rd or worse for Falla to get a sprint globe (which would be the case with 100-80-60-....), then *again* going back to 50 for stage win. What the heck?! 

 

They are weird. Also saying how Bolshunov and Klaebo had a clash in semi of WC sprint, which of course was Ustiugov. And what's worst, they sounded so sure *that* happened. If I heard correctly, co-commentator was son of Mike Dixon, Scott I think. I think Mike would've set the record straight both times.

I like it as one event, the Tour de Ski. One 'different' thing as sort of an ultimate test, cool, but the rest...meh. Just like I very much like the Four Hills Tournament in ski jumping, but all the Willingen Five and RAW AIR stuff can go back to not existing.

That’s basically my opinion too. One such event in a season is fine. When like half the season constitutes of “stage” world cup... it really cheapens everything.

Don't forget about the Planica 7!

 

Yeah, all these events outside Four Hills are so useless so beyond laughable at this stage. The only point of it being qualifying suddenly matters now that Top 10 used to skip that so they ruled out Top 10 auto quals and people still don't give a shit.

 

Ruke Triple, Four Hills, Willingen 5, Raw AIr, Planica 7. Did I miss something?

When we have a pursuit tomorrow, interval race today would make more sense. 

 

And have to say, this Canadian course is a bit boring. No great scenery.
