The four nations are (provisional and TBC by NOCs):

•    Germany – Kayak Single (K1W) 200m Women
•    Sweden – Kayak Double (K2M) 200m Men

Very strange decisions. Instead of realocation quotas, they can resolve to replace these athletes

They proceed from the fact that the Olympic Committee of Russia has sent the final list of athletes, which have possible replacement. But that was before the IOC decision. And now it would be logical to give the opportunity to change this list.

They also provide a great deal of difficulty if the Russians will turn to CAS and they will win. My head is exploding from it all. :wall:

Well, the quotas in the Men's K2 200m and C1 200m as well as the Women's K1 200m and K2 500m were won by the help of athletes who were named in the McLaren report - cheaters, to be straight up here. Thus, I think it's only fair that these quotas are reallocated to the next eligible NOCs from the respective event at the WC. I'm also sure that this decision will be upheld by CAS.
