Honnestly, I'm surpised by the doom and gloom over here.

 

Just to give an exemple, I believe this will be the fist time ever that rowing will be broadcasted by the french public television outside of the olympics (even, the world championsips in France in 2015 were only broadcasted by Eurosport) . That, in itself, is allready a massive plus in my book.

 

In that case I think it just differs per nation. Apparently there are nations where this 'event' is actually treated as a multi-sports event, whereas other nations (like the Netherlands in this case) treat them as stand-alone championships that don't get more attention than usual.

Well yeah, apparently for some nations it is, whereas in other nations it's simply seen as entirely separate events

Good start for our women's doubles and men's singles. Worrying start for our men's fours that should be considered as a favourite and there is an improvement with one athlete, so it's not a good sign to see them 4th in the heat.

Our only boat competing in this tournament, the LM2x finished 5th in 2nd heat (yay we actually not finished last as they beat one boat from SLO) and will retry the miracle tomorrow in the repechages

As expected no Danish boats directly to the finals  We have sent a team of young athletes this time. The goal for them is to get some experience and prepare them for the Olympics.

Hopefully, they will do okay in repechages in the upcoming days.

huraa, 2nd in the 1st repechage, meaning they advanced to the semifinals, so the goal of our rowing is done
