Strolia is just utterly exhausted and exploded. Respect for the attempt though, saving energy earlier to have a better pace now would most likely have simply not put him in the position to fight for a podium. So all in all, fantastic effort for him, again

It's weird though, he is not a slouch on the skis, posted top 20 ski times in many many races this season. Laps 2 through 4 he looked great, absolutely nothing left for the last lap.

The adrenaline of really fighting for an actual World Cup podium, I guess :p (in a 'mass start' race, so you can actually see the podium/win in front of you)

So, no one is talking about lack of shooting places in first shooting. :mumble:I believe it was first time that tight, or at least first time after very long time.

Been watching 20+ years, don’t remember ever seeing such a pile-up before.

The women's list is kinda worrying :mumble:Look at this : Hildebrand (enough said) ; Wiesensarter or Weidel would have been undying journewomen a few years back, now they almost have a WC regular status ; Hettich is probably the most promising of the lot, which speaks for itself  ; Schneider and Kebinger are already 24 and their IBU Cup performances are not particularly thrilling.

Of course Preuss is still recovering, Voigt not included, but Herrmann and Hinz are reaching the end of the path with downward trajectories.
