Well, the Ana Jelusic story proves hype can derail fast. She's in an awkward spot, there will be no immediate competition like it is in the powerhouse nations but also no chance to sneak under the radar. It's anyone's guess how will she cope with the looming spotlight. Filip Zubcic had a terrible season tbh and that's another cautionary tale.

Well, Ana Jelušić still achieved two WC podiums (or was it three?). Including 2nd place in Zagreb, which is still our best rank on home snow.

 

Sure, some may have expected more, but her career was farcry from a disaster. :p
