mrv86 3,043 Posted August 6, 2019 #1902 Share Posted August 6, 2019 @LDOG do you know why, in both hockey tournaments, the teams in each semifinal are the same that finished 1-2 in their groups?

intoronto 4,735 Posted August 6, 2019 #1905 Share Posted August 6, 2019 So far Argentina has won all the team gold minus baseball for men. Wow! Softball, Basketball, rugby sevens, handball. Still in contention in football and likely will win field hockey. Amazing performance. ---- Haiti's rower has had to withdraw due to injury. She was the country's only rower... konig

thiago_simoes 1,359 Posted August 6, 2019 #1907 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Canada, Brazil and Mexico have had good performances, but Argentina is the most surprising nation here, in my opinion. Last year Argentina struggled against Venezuela on the medal table for the South American Games, so the fact that Argentina stays ahead of Cuba and very close to Colombia right now is a sight to behold. Agree, one more gold and Argentina won exactly the same than Toronto, i expected a clear seventh position before this. thiago_simoes
