Excellent run by 'Alamicron' of Paraguay.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Strange thing is the countries like Fiji have much faster guys playing Rugby Sevens, but somehowthey never bring them here.

I don't really think that's strange :p

What are their speeds? At least I assume they have been tested/raced?

I assume rugby is more important in Fiji? All the fastest guys go into rugby, no need to waste their talents for something called athletics?

Oh sure. They don’t have the luxury of being amateur athletes.  They feed their families by playing rugby.

I’m not sure but I imagine pretty fast. Ireland had a good junior sprinter who was running 10.4 100m and 20.69 in 200m as an 18 year old and he converted to rugby sevens and Fiji seem to have even faster guys in rugby sevens than us. So not sure what times they are running but that perhaps gives you some indication.

There we go, Fijian guy with a 10.2 PB.  Just false started.  :wall:
