I removed all non-Olympic events that I could. For clarification weightlifting was left as is while in karate I only removed the lightest weightclass as I cannot combine the two heavier weightclasses.

Amazing Ceremony, great atmosphere, huge performance. I wasn’t my top favorite, but It will be one of the few I enjoy rewatching for years to come. Congrats Indonesia and of course @Griff88

In other news, China’s entires will in fact be banned from participating in the weightlifting competition

The YouTube will probably never stream anything. However, the Olympic Channel is offering some limited coverage (begging with some finals on the first day), and workpointoffical (Thailand broadcaster) has been posting replays on YouTube (you can’t view them in the playlist, but you can look them up and view them Individually).

Exactly. Otherwise I'm depending on streams being posted here, sites like livetv dot sx mostly cover team sports and I'm not gonna be bothered to watch football or basketball which is watchable all year round anyway.

Which are banned countries in addition to Kazakhstan and China ?

      It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.

      Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt

      The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
