Stefanidi gives us the third medal here, although I was hoping it would be our third gold. Still nice for her to be on a major podium again for the first time since the 2019 World Championships :yes and doing so with a SB!

Frantzeskakis into the men's hammer final as expected. He is really doing better than Anastasakis who once again failed in qualifying at a major competition...

I'm surprised Karydi made it to the women's triple jump final. She's having a horrible season but the level is so low that it makes her look decent.

Also pleased to see Gnafaki make it to the 400 hurdles semifinals with a new PB! She had 58.48 as a 19 year old in 2016 and didn't improve her PB until 2020! Now she has improved it 5 more times in the last two years, and here in Munich up to 56.45. Another new PB in the semifinals would be awesome. I'm pleased to see that she is finally back on the right track after years of struggling.

The bad news for us is that one of our women's 100 hurdles, Anais Karagianni, had to pull out due to injury. She joins the list of female track athletes (Emmanouilidou and Vasiliou as well) that had to withdraw from these Championships

What was this whole thing with Dokter, Krizsan and an official about after the long jump? It would have been possible to hear them all speak in English and then hear Dokter speak with Vetter in Dutch if it weren't for the English commentator constantly talking through it

I know Dokter jumped well over 6 meters, and then everything got rather vague it seemed.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Ah, apparently there was a technical issue during Krizsan's jump, after which Dokter was cleared to jump. They were however still fixing the issue, leading to there not being a photo of Dokter's take-off, so they couldn't allow her result. It seems they were both allowed another attempt, as they should, but during Krizsan's new attempt another technical issue appeared (but this time the photo showed she was over the line anyway). Dokter wasn't shown anymore, uncertain whether or not she jumped again. That's a real shame though, that seemingly legal jump - just with an unfortunate organizational error - seemed to be at least half a meter better than what she now has as result, that's a ton of points :(

    • In terms of the first table, there were 2 clubs missing that are/could be apart of the Professional/Semi Professional English League system.    The first are the Wigan Warriors (club logo above), they play in Super League (1st Division) and are the defending back to back Super League champions. Not quite sure how I forgot to add them, but somehow I did.    The second are the Bedford Tigers (club logo above). They originally weren't set to join the system from non league but there are strong rumours that they are now set to join League 1 (3rd Division), replacing the aforementioned Cornwall.
