Ah, apparently there was a technical issue during Krizsan's jump, after which Dokter was cleared to jump. They were however still fixing the issue, leading to there not being a photo of Dokter's take-off, so they couldn't allow her result. It seems they were both allowed another attempt, as they should, but during Krizsan's new attempt another technical issue appeared (but this time the photo showed she was over the line anyway). Dokter wasn't shown anymore, uncertain whether or not she jumped again. That's a real shame though, that seemingly legal jump - just with an unfortunate organizational error - seemed to be at least half a meter better than what she now has as result, that's a ton of points :(

Well, there wouldn't be any issue if there was a plaster board and a man with a flag. Obvious evidence that technology is also prone for errors.

Adrianna Sułek 42.86 PB in the javelin :yes

I'm a little behind in terms of watching (an hour or so), but wow, Ekaterina Poistogova is back :yikes:

Or well, that's what I remember her as from the years where she was constantly named in the beginning's of the unravelling of Russia's state-sponsored program that eventually lead to Russian athletes being kicked out of sports thanks to their own government. Apparently she married Ramil Guliyev and competes for Turkey now.

Nope, BBC commentators too busy talking about free food in stadium and bitching about inclusion of sport climbing and urban events to Olympics

    • Breakdown for the men's qualification is ..zzzzzzzzz    Rohner finished off the competition for 3 quotas today    Mandlbauer holds the last spot for 2 quotas, as long as he gets to the bottom tomorrow it is done. If not then  Ferreira would need a top five in the EC race to make it interesting.    Edelman and  Brown are very close, but both are finished competing and there can be no change for the last quota now.

    • Totallympics Annual International Song Contest 2025      Thank you Mexico! Tunisia gets their second gold medal of the contest! Congratulations to them!   Not a lot of changes at the top with those votes but France have cut back 5 points to Ireland which means the lead now stands at 28 points. There are 11 juries still to vote, including Ireland, so things are still wide open in terms of deciding this year's outcome.   The next jury we go to are the Dutch national jury.
