Looking at the results. GEO as best European is a bit weird for the old continent in this event :p Europe really dropped in this

Europe has been bad in the men's singles for a while now. Javier used to get European golds just for showing up - just look at his medal record. On the World stage he was succesful too, but had an actual competition.

Hmm free pass for Nathan to gold?

Watch out for Kagiyama. His main competition here.

I never believed Yuzu had it in him to go for another gold here. It was just a wet dream of his obsessive fans. :p

We could see other Russians get expelled as WADA will push for the entire of ROC to be expelled and all medals reassigned. Could go to CAS. Will the IOC want to risk many countries launching a breakaway Olympics.

Love Jason Brown, sadly he won't come close to medals.

Sinnerman is perhaps my favorite program ever.

But yeah, he can only be competitive in the short program.

Yeah I also wished that Kagiyama will give us the showdown we wanted.

Well I'm not a hardcore Yuzu fan, but rather a guy who doesn't like Nathan

It could take days and days for this to be resolved one way or another. I mean GB’s relay team still haven’t yet been formally stripped of their medals from Tokyo.

They might even cancel the entire Olympics because of this.

Legal consultation is quite an odd phrase through. It does make you think of paperwork and procedural disputes rather than straight forward positive Doping test.

Has Nathan done something to your family? :yikes:

Considering he is the best skater of the last quad (and by a margin), it would feel pretty unjust if he were to lose...

    • According to Ståhls new coach, Ståhl has only the interest practicing and competing with the focus to performance in the important arena competitions. But he has as you say never said anything negative about the performances in these events. However I would have liked to see him and Ceh there too (Ståhl might not be good enough for 74 now in any conditions but definitely a few years ago), for fun, i am still not thinking these are the best discus throws ever. But the level in the discos throw has increased the last season so would by be surprised with more 70+ throws than Regular this season. But not like this.
