Chinese commentators spoke about one rule for relays .... It says if you amongst first 2 nations and you have an accidental/innocent fall , according to the rules you should be advanced to the next round. But if you are 3rd or 4th at the time of the fall - not ...... I am not an expert in short track, but ...... 😅😅😅😅😅

Not if it's really just nothing but bad luck without any intent anywhere whatsoever :p

Can't say judges have been favouring China this event (like they generally and somewhat surprisingly don't really favour home nations in shorttrack), but this one was...fishy, to say the least.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

no, Chinese commentators are right (also the Italian commentator -Michele Antonioli, former world champion and Olympic medallist- said immediately that, well before the judges announced their decision)...

this time China didn't have a particularly favourable treatment...

The yellow card is with him for the whole season. If he gets another yellow card, he will be suspended for the whole season.

no, it's "only" the whole tournament...

the whole season would be a little too much...

p.s. and yes, Knegt got a yellow card, too...;)

Yes, obviously. I believe this (Final B winner getting a medal) happened once with one of the relays few years ago but can't be sure.

Pyeongchang 2018...the Dutch women got the bronze medal by winning the B final because of 2 disqualifications in the A final...

yes, that's the rule (and it's the same in the individual races)...

in order to be advanced directly by the judges to the following round, an athlete must be already in a directly qualifying position (which means they have to be in the top 2 places if there are 2 slots to qualify or 3 if there are 3 and so on)...otherwise you can yourself just unlucky...

So only goal is fast start and then "dive", and you are in final?
