Current track cycling quota projections By NOC after the Nations Cup II event in Hong Kong:

There are still 2 ranking events left in the qualifying window:

1.) 2024 PanAmerican Championships - Carson :USA (3-Apr - 7-Apr)

2.) Nations Cup III - Milton :CAN: (12-Apr - 14-Apr)

From what you sent it seems like we( :ISR) will have the quata for 2 athletes in sprint, we have only one athlete active (in that discipline, on an international level) can the federation just send someone who never participated in the sprint ir will the second quata will be relocated?

Sorry but it won't last :d. Poland didn't compete in Hong Kong and neither did Canada (and they still have their continental champs)

Don't underestimate them 😜😜

The reason :ISR qualifies 2 athletes is because Mikhail Yakovlev is top 10 in the ranking for both individual sprint and keirin.

In order to be able to take a second rider, they would need to have competed during the qualification window so I think the quota would need to be reallocated.

How many points do the finalists/medal contenders in each event will add at the Pan American Championships?

Team Sprint - 675 / 6-7.5 / 540 / 506.25 / 472.5

Individual Events - 450 / 405 / 360 / 337.5 / 315

Thank you.

And those points are added without eliminating any other previous resulta right?

Thanks, good to know, it will probably be reallocated as for some reason our federation is only focusing on omnium and Madison

2024 PanAmerican Track Cycling Championships

Men's Team Sprint:

1.) :COL Colombia

2.) :CAN Canada

3.) :USA USA

--------------------

4.) Argentina

5.) Mexico

6.) Brazil

7.) Trinidad & Tobago

Adjusted Olympic Rankings:

1.) :AUS Australia - 8175 (Q)

2.) :JPN Japan - 6832.50 (Q)

3.) :NED Netherlands - 6540 (Q)

4.) :GBR Great Britain - 6401.25 (Q)

5.) :CHN China - 6337.50 (Q)

6.) :FRA France - 5887.5 (Q)

7.) :GER Germany - 5733.75 (Q)

8.) :CZE Czechia - 4552.50

-------------------------------------

9.) :POL Poland - 4530

10.) :CAN Canada - 4507.50

The Team Sprint in Milton is going to be tasty. Whoever finishes higher out of Poland or Canada gets the final quota. So far in the qualifying window, Poland have outperformed Canada 3-1 but, the event where Canada came out on top was Milton last year.

The start lists for Milton this year are stronger than we saw in 2023 so I don't expect Canada to replicate their 4th place finish from last year. Overall, I think it is advantage :POL for the final quota.
