Chance of vaccinated people infecting others is extremely low, and athletes are almost all young and healthy, they might as well test them for any contagious disease before the competition.

Sadly as the figures in the UK and Israel are showing it doesn’t seem that low - there is simply not enough unvaccinated people to be the only ones spreading it with our current cases numbers.

A further gymnast is isolating after coming into close contact.

Still if it’s one of the two teenagers in the Artistic team that is America’s chance of team gold probably gone and massive opportunity for others.
