Oleksiak has basically become a part-time swimmer.
I guess the Australian team won't be announced until January or maybe late December because the last selection meet (Queensland State Champs) is in mid December.

Can any Brazilians confirm this? Seems way too early to have Olympic trials already.
I found this (in Portuguese) which says it's a "safeguard" meet for Olympic selection but seems a bit strange to call it "Olympic Trials".

I don't know but I would expect them to count pending WAQ allowing them to compete.
What a warrior Sates is pulling off the 2IM/2Fly double at each leg.

do i have to change my Paris predicts for w 100 breast?
will she even qualify in this event? ITA are strong here
She's a bit unpredictable.

I could be wrong because I'm just speculating but I think she's probably focussed on speed for this World Cup tour. Peaking in the 50 and 200 at the same time is extremely hard.
It's nearly 3am here. Stayed up for the WR!

Was easy after what she did last week and then the 50 yesterday made it pretty much certain.
Siobhan might have something big for us tomorrow in the 100! She's also overdue for a breakthrough in the 200 with how many times she's gone 1:53 high/1:54 low.

Perhaps another one in the 100 tomorrow

I have some sombre news for the Canadians here but Matt Temple just stole Josh Liendo's 100 fly Commonwealth record after clocking 50.25 at Japan Open

It was a quite fruitful meet with lots of PBs from the Aussies including a national record by Sam Williamson in the 50 breast (26.51).
