  3. well, the Slovak National Anthem (the official part used for representation and official acts) has two verses and lasts 1 minute. So it really doesn't require any torture to play it on the whole. But, yeah, I guess we should probably be glad even for that one verse, because sometimes here and there for some reason they play us the Slovenian anthem ... and sometimes in it´s integrality

  5. Team Day 9 Results One of the most anticipated and expected day for our delegation was the Day 9 and the Women´s 1000m Short Track Speed Skating Event, with participation of the rising star of Slovak sport Petra Rusnáková, and she did not disappoint, From the early stages of the competition she was without fear showing her ambitions Winning every race she attended from the Heats, passing through the Quarterfinals and finishing by winning the Semifinals as well she fully demonstrated her strength and potential and deservedly did qualify for the big A-Final Sadly, in the last race of the day she failed to achieve her big dream and finished on 5th place. The medal was really within reach today. Pity. but today with her performances, she reaffirmed in front of the biggest youth sport stage of the world once again that she is one of the greatest hopes of our sport. huge talent and prospect for slovakia.

  16. Actually not, from what I remember her last wins they always played the whole 2 parts of the anthem, sadly the last time that the correct version was played was in Zagreb. In Flachau they messed it totally playing only the 2nd part lol and today in sestriere they played only the first part..which is actually considered as a faux-pas, since our national anthem is composed of the 2 parts.. but yeah, let it be, I can live with that, Petra won (ex-aequo with Brignone this time) and that´s what matters, the 2020 winning streak is still on, 3 races this year - 3 wins
