  1. in other hand, going for 50th consecutive preliminary round win at U20 WCH
  2. I saw that move, his knee clearly moved wrong way, defnitely did not look good, he could not stand on that feet when he was taken away of the ice.

  4. I know. The U16 girls tournament is completely open and the girls can with some luck and good days fight even for bronze, which would be quite hard to imagine in the boys tournament, considering the competition. but still I would love to see this U18 class there, guys like Chromiak or Myklukha are supposed to be "FINALLY" the real promising talents. I am a bit sad about the decision also because this way pitty this generation will don´t have the chance to play any elite level tournament, since last years team relegated they will have to play only at the U18 Division I A in April. and even if they win the tourney (which they MUST) they will not be eligible anymore for the next years eventual top division
  5. yeah, however the YOG is for the U18 among boys and U16 for girls. Our U18 class for this year is slightly better and more competitive than the last year one (which was even relegated and fully deserved ), so I would rather see the boys playing in Lausanne.
  6. Germany beat Czech Republic. Insanely talented this team ! 17 years old Tim Stutzle, 17 years old Peterka, 17 years old Lukas Reichel and 18 years old Seider. already leading their team in the U20 category WCh. Impressive generation ! We wil hear a lot about these guys in the future. mark my words.
  7. Embarassing generation, but this was expected, this 2000/01 year is definitely one of our worst (if not even the worst of all), Thanks god they beat Kazakhstan ! Thanks to all heavens for that ! The saddest thing is that next 2 years we are going to have the same if not worst, next year with the team that was relegated last year at the U18.. In other hand there some good prospects forward, our 2003/04 class looks really promising, hopefully we will somehow stay among the elite until the 2003/04 generation will be eligible

  12. Interesting story about the goal winning scorer of yesterdays key game Daniel Vladimir Tkáč, the Pittsburgh native guy, both his parents were born in Slovakia but moved to the 2 years before his birth. https://www.iihf.com/en/events/2020/wm20/news/16967/country-roads-take-me-home @Olympian1010 another prove that Slovaks who move to America in majority resides in Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania
  13. Yes, I noticed that too. sadly TSN influence is too strong it seems, even for the host country broadcaster.. Anyway, everyone know how to use VPN so still can watch all matches on that link without making any harder effort. + there still the Onhockey.tv site with friendly and easy way to find live all matches. btw I don´t know how they achieved that but it looks like the Taiwan Hockey Association official youtube channel put the matches on demand on their channel, 1 day later, but still
  14. First historic win for Women´s U18 team at the Top Division World Championships ever ! Well done girls, way to go ! Nice win for a team including young promising players that are going to play in Lausanne in a couple of days at the WYOG

  24. Pity for them Stutzle and Seider can not play 60 minutes, USA changed lines seeding in 3rd period and made the difference quite easily However, even if they finish last in this "death group" they should be no worried at all in the relegation round.
