  3. Two very pleasant results today for team SVK Andrea Podmaníková (2nd from right in the front row) ended 18th in the 100 breast, aka 2nd reserve for the semis. 0.03 short of the crazy achieved team´s goal. Also the female 4x200 free relay ended 9th, at first view only 1 place from the heavens (Place in the final) but also almost 11 full seconds from that 8th rank All in all, well done team SVK
  4. If not totallympics I would not have the chance to even know something like that was contested previous week. and if not our NOC website, no one in Slovakia would know about it at all (which would be a terrible shame) So thanks to our NOC I learned that the world team was coached by Erik Cáp (SVK NT coach ) who had 2 of his athletes in the team, and both did pretty well in Coralville, Especially Tajmuraz Salkazanov won all his 3 matches and Batyrbek Tsakulov ended with 1 Win, 1 Tie and 1 defeat credit to our NOC website https://www.olympic.sk/clanok/vyber-sveta-sp-zapasenie-2022 Tajmuraz is among the 10 Slovak Athlete of The Year nominated athletes, and for the first time will be part of the Gala show, I wonder in which position he will end, Obviously Petra Vlhová with her gold in Beijing is the top fav for the win, Slaf is for sure contender for 2nd place medal in Beijing and historic draft, but from 3rd place everything is open I think, I hope he will end the highest possible, because he deserve some adequate reward for everything he did and is doing for his new country sport
  5. If will advance tomorrow to the final, for the first time a team who lost to an Arab country during the competition will be world champion - and -
  6. 6th WC final for by beating 3-0 it´s all nice and fun, but yeah, try to repeat it in Water Polo and only then I will be impressed
  7. From the last 12 Semifinals at WC 10 ended either by a draw or by 1 goal margin, the only 2 exceptions were 2 late extra-time goals in the 2-0 win over Germany in 2006 and ofc the - 7-1 in 2014 so such margin is quite exceptional
  8. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMorocco will eat both MMMMMMMMMMMMMMbappe and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMessi alive MMMMMMMMMMMMModric was smart to avoid them
  9. not sure Croatia will push this to the extra time tonight to be honest, well, sadly every streak has to end some day
  10. our commentator with some poetic muse tonight it appears : "oh, look at this Messi´s tango with the ball"
  11. 5th consecutive time is leading here 2-0 - ended 2-0 - ended 2-0 - ended 2-1 - ended 2-2 by this logic - will end 2-3 ?
  12. btw.. Played 6 unsuccessful WC Qualifiers in its history (only one was successful in 2010 but that´s another story) and among the 6, Four (4) times the team which advanced from our qualifying group made it to the WC Semifinal and previous 3 lost it..so yeah Croatia should know 2002 2006 2018 and now
