  1. Oh no, he so much wanted to continue to have at least one mixed relay handing over to his daughter, even if it was 'only' in the IBU Cup It was basically his only reason to continue in the past years..
  2. Surprise surprise Also waiting anxiously for the Vuelta a Costa Rica
  3. They were discussing the pots for the draw, someone heard "pot" and they all ended up high as f*ck?
  4. Meh, "Reputation: xxx" with xxx being simply the medals one already sees is boring, "has a reputation beyond repute" and so on was much cooler.
  5. Aaaaaand we are back. This is not normal, all these interruptions, slow days and hours where the whole thing just doesn't work...seriously, is this hosted somewhere on a remote Bhutanese mountaintop?
  6. WTF indeed, those are some weird cars man
  7. Yep, and that many things are not 'right' enough. Then again, Baudet is all about 'fighting the elite' even though he is like the most elitist person ever with his victory speech full of bullshit nobody understood
  8. They are sort of like a more intelligent version of the PVV, focused a bit more wide instead of almost only (at least publicly) on the immigration problems like the PVV. They'll have some problems though, they won more seats than they have people to fill them Why especially those two provinces, no idea. Probably because they're good in cities, but cities are generally more left (especially Amsterdam is as left as PVV is right), so that's odd. They were even the 3rd biggest in my town, only slightly behind the ever dominating SGP (super strict Christians who often don't for politics but just for religion) and ChristenUnie (more relaxed Christians).
  9. I don't get why you take that little tournament in Slovakia this spring/almostsummer so serious, Slovakia is out before it really started...
  10. Yeah I can take the M + W world champs seriously, but the annual gazillion U18/U20/U19/U16/U21 division A/B1/C8/DIII/B3 championships....a bit less
  11. Do you have a link? Not because I don't believe you, but because I want to read what they said and can't find it
  12. Doherty has always shown the potential to be a top-20 athlete and this season it has started to come out more and more often. I'd be pretty confident in his improvements
  13. Apart from some freestyle stuff in Silvaplana this week, the World Cup winter seasons have now finished Which begs the question: which athletes have had their first successes/wins this season? I think by far the biggest is of course ski jumper Ryoyu Kobayashi, opening the season with his first ever individual podium only to go on and absolutely destroy everyone throughout the entire winter.
  14. How about stuff that keeps the nerves under control and makes it easier to keep the arms and body steady?
  15. 2021 cross country worlds will be held at/around the legendary, epic Mount Panorama race track in Bathurst, Australia https://www.iaaf.org/competitions/iaaf-world-cross-country-championships/news/2021-world-cross-country-bathurst-australia
  16. Mostly because she had a breakthrough season (already before yesterday) and improved so much she could be an outside contender if she keeps on improving. However, much to my shock I just noticed she is already 31 instead of, what I thought, somewhere around 24-25 So yeah, less of an outside chance than I thought.
  17. Surely they'll take that too. Oh wait, they relegated, haha.
  18. And Geisreiter had one super magical race and apart from that not much, one might see that as suspicious. And Baumgärtner is born in Russia Beckert kept skating and also posting his results including analysis and everything as always, also after that police raid in Austria and Germany. Doesn't sound very suspicious.
  19. For those interested in the thoughts and contemplations of one of Brazil's main 2022 Olympic hopefuls about the now finally finished and - for many reasons - rather difficult season.
  20. Trainings are a lot longer than a little over a minute though, with blood doping one can imagine also a sprinter can train significantly longer and harder.
