  1. Probably if we have a stage, it won't be with much live coverage, since helicopters are probably not going up.
  2. It's still far from certain we'll have a stage today. 'As things stand' we will, but the problem is it's most likely not going to stay 'as things stand'. Massive shitstorm incoming (in terms of weather - not literally - and in terms of reactions).
  3. Yeah this is not gonna change Too bad domination like this happens in a final
  4. Nope, but I am genuinely interested in how Horton is going to pick this up (and Lilly King for example), or will they only go all-out against the big bad China and Russia?
  5. Well yeah, and I'm assuming Australians are going to say it's probably a misunderstanding and/or not so bad.
  6. Cool Slight point of interest though: what's with the names in ALL CAPS? Kinda makes it more annoying to read
  7. Positive doping test for Australian Shayna Jack, who pulled out of the world champs 'due to personal reasons' (uhuh). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shayna_Jack Curious to see Horton's protest
  8. Drama in a nightclub next to the whole complex in Gwangju where the World Aquatics Championships are being held: a balcony collapsed and two people died. Several others were injured, including athletes from the USA, New Zealand (water polo captain Matt Small), Italy, Brazil and the Netherlands (water polo player Maud Megens).
  9. Because nobody gives a crap about baseball and softball. I think most people even have no clue that men's baseball is Olympic and women have to make do with softball, which is mostly just a game children play at school every now and then
  10. At least this is uphill, less dangerous Now if all the land stays in place and doesn't slide down, that'd be appreciated, thanks
  11. Too bad they didn't use one of the gazillion other climbs in the area as alternative before Val Thorens.
  12. Don't know the result yet, but was it a close final and is it worth trying to find it somewhere? Because it's not possible to download from RAI, it's nowhere on YouTube, so it seems rather impossible.
  13. When it's 'Aboriginal' we should all find it ok by the way, because it's only tradition so it's fine to drive species to extinction?
  14. Another tough battle coming up tomorrow (and possibly Sunday). 154. Sebastian Langeveld + 4:13:50 155. Yoann Offredo + 4:13:53
  15. with 13 Bryde's whales made me google those whales: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryde's_whale#Whaling One of the photos is from Ilhabela in Brazil and that's pretty much where I'll be going later this year Now I kinda really wanna go see some whales
  16. Yeah, that's terribly sad. One of the most awesome Tour's in ages and it finishes with such a huge anti-climax both today and tomorrow At least the final climb is still there, but that one doesn't seem to be nearly hard enough for anything big to happen.
  17. Oh well, so no softball. Not like I was gonna watch that anyway
  18. Officially or just pretty much impossible?
  19. So was a young Quintana
  20. At least half of them would have fallen to their death anyway so who cares.
  21. If it wasn't cancelled and Sagan had lost like 35 minute minutes in the last, short climb, it could have been dangerous for him! https://www.tissottiming.com/File/0003110208010113FFFFFFFFFFFFFF02
