  3. Much more a fan of streams.
  4. Everyone looks a little broken
  5. More extra time
  6. 7m Croatia to tie it up with no time to go anymore and 26-25
  7. It's what you get when the biggest thing resembling a river nearby is this thingy https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hierdensche_Beek
  8. Hold on a minute, 'Danube' is what I only know as the 'Donau' (both Dutch and German) Mind = blown
  9. I am aware it goes through more than just Mississippi, though I would only be able to guess through which states. I don't care much about which rivers run exactly where in my part of the world, let alone in some random other part
  10. How people who call themselves sports fans can be specifically sad about an athlete having one of the best athletic days of their life is truly beyond me.
  11. At least for the Mississippi River one could make the educated guess of 'the state of Mississippi', no idea what educated guess other than 'somewhere in East Europe?' one could give for the Danube River
  12. Why else would Innsbruck be called Innsbruck?
  13. I think I know it's not possible, but just to be sure: is there a way to prevent certain subforums from showing up in the unread posts/topic section?
  14. There's not really a concept of a World Cup Final here is there? Dear Lord, so far the level is abysmal For a World Cup, that is, of course. Everyone is missing.
  15. The 32 for men is definitely the right amount, just no doubt about that, it's incredibly competitive. For the women it's basically twice more than necessary though, yes. No reason to move them to snowboarding though, they've got plenty of quotas too for every event, including the cross.
  16. Jeroen Bleekemolen is known for racing in a whole shitload of series and everything, but he's in both the 54 and 35 here? (with an American flag in the latter)
  17. IBU should have a standard thing showing which athletes maker their WC debut in a given race, that's good to watch.
  18. Met her in the IBU Cup in Arber, another example of a very friendly athlete Not the best English in the world (but probably a lot better than most Chinese people), but througout the weekend there I don't think I've seen her walk or talk without a big smile. Worth an extra cheer Great to see her make her World Cup debut (well, individually, she already was in a relay a few weeks ago), hopefully she can keep improving!
  19. 17 women in the ski cross qualifying in Idre Fjäll today...in the first one young Linnea Mobärg was the only one to just miss out on the top-16 and thus didn't qualify for the first race. In the second qualifying, for Sunday, she was the only one not to finish and so she's the only one to miss out there as well, that's just sad
  20. Lotte Lie, who switched from Norway to her mother's Belgium, making her World Cup debut with 20/20 According to our in-the-know Brazilian member she's very kind, so I'm cheering for her
  21. Wow, the first ever 0 for Herrmann in biathlon - yes, including sprints - comes in an individual
  22. I find it a bit sad that they don't mention it's his first World Cup podium and his first ever race in which he hit all 20 targets. I know that's not the important thing, but it makes his result even more special right after hearing the news the night before.
