  1. Bertens won the first set against Kerber
  2. Dutch media showing how much they know of taekwondo and Olympic rules: all over they're reporting Mourad Laachraoui "won gold at the European championships and with that qualified for the Rio Olympics"
  3. Why is there no women's C1 and/or C2? I only realize now that there's only one women's event but three men's events
  4. Didn't Taylor recently get beaten in a huge upset as well?
  5. Well if it does not take away a place for another nation, then yes, why not
  6. Same here! Back in 2012 it was one of the big discoveries for many Dutch people, who suddenly discovered archery to be an exciting sport to watch...thanks to Rick van der Ven of course
  7. It would be awesome, but why would they give SVK a wild card? I mean, don't they already have a quota place and besides that, SVK isn't eligible for wild cards are they?
  8. Double Olympic trap champion Michael Diamond (AUS) was caught driving drunk with a rifle and 150 rounds on his back seat. This resulted in him losing his weapons license, at least for now. What do you think, should the Australian NOC refuse his participation in Rio because of this (if he even gets his license back, that is)? I think they should. People who act this irresponsible especially in a sport like shooting should just stay home. Who would be next in line? Another Australian or another nation?
  9. Thanks again, especially what you say about his style is interesting, I'll pay attention to him if any of the streams show taekwondo during the Olympics.
  10. How about Achab in 68? I noticed a huge difference between the odds on two bookmakers...one have odds of only around 6 for him (meaning he's among the 4-5 favorites), whereas another one gives 51 euro/dollar/pound for every euro/dollar/pound you bet on him to win gold..
  11. Ah yes People on Dutch forums are already starting to talk about our team maybe getting bronze at the Olympics, but honestly I'd already think it would be cool if they reach the final
  12. 1:56.64 for Semenya, who only started to actually run instead of jog after around 600 meters.
  13. Foliforov wins Kruijswijk just keeps showing he is very surprisingly the absolute best in this Giro And then there's still the 3rd week to go, which is where he's often on his best..
  14. I'm guessing you didn't have Mo Farah-like tactics?
  15. I'll provide the balance here and NOT go for a run then
  16. Kruijswijk was already sort of destroying Nibali today and now Nibali had a mechanical problem to make matters worse
  17. I'm sure I could do 10k in under an hour if I'd train for it, but after I did my once every 5-6 months running "training" I usually tell myself "Alright, never again, this is stupid."
  18. Considering I'd mostly be walking instead of running, I'd be impressed if I'm able to do 10k in 90 minutes My best 5k time is around half an hour and that nearly killed me
  19. Tinkoff's car fucks with Firsanov's time by stopping right in front of him giving him no space to pass Also thanks to the idiots who are standing on the side of the road
  20. Huge time for Foliforov of Russia's Gazprom at the uphill time trial And Firsanov is still to come and already faster at the intermediate
  21. Incredible day of racing at Mugello Moto3 - Bizarre race where lap after lap 15+ riders had a chance to be in the top-3 one lap later...even for Moto3 standards this was an amazing race. Moto2 - Hilarious chaos after a red flag situation, where the 'quick-start procedure' for the restart eventually took 45 minutes. Organizers made a huge mess there. After that it was a huge battle between Zarco and Baldassarri, amazing fight! MotoGP - A shame Rossi's bike stopped but the fight between Marquez and Lorenzo was absolutely thrilling, what a finish A bit a shame that so many "fans" are not really fans after all and couldn't keep themselves from booing for Lorenzo and Marquez....assholes, but that's what happens when we're racing in Italy. Same thing for the "fans" leaving after Rossi was out of the race, clearly they're not MotoGP-fans after all.
  22. Apart from her apparently really focussing more on 400mH than anything else this season much more than previous seasons. A whole lot of her 400mH results in the other seasons came on the same day as a 400m, meaning she was never really focussing on just one event. There's not a whole lot of fishy going on here I'm guessing.
