No thanks, we have enough combat sports and it's not even a "real" combat sport, especially that kata-thing. Skateboarding and surfing? Keep in the X-Games will you? Climbing? Now what, we'll have a combined event...is it normal in sports climbing that people are good in all three events or will we see totally new athletes?

    Baseball and softball will be on the Olympics in Tokyo, because Japan. But indeed, a tournament with 6 teams is absolutely nothing more than a bad joke.

    How about Verstappen Instead of him being around 5th place all race, we can now possible see an awesome race tomorrow where he overtakes a lot of people (if all goes well) Ricciard had the perfect qualifying, pole position AND he can start the race on harder tyres

    Incredibly lucky victory for Nibali of course, but let's be fair, those last two days were impressive. There's no sign he would have won it without Kruijswijk's fall so it's quite lucky for Nibali, but at least he attacked in the last two stages making his win a little bit bearable. All in all it's such a huge shame that what so far was a fantastic Grand Tour finished in such a way, decided by a fall.

    I'm doubting he is strong enough to attack again, but yeah, this is quite painful Don't forget though that it's not a matter of just saying "Ah alright, let me get in this break away" and done...it's not that easy By the way, I know Nibali/Chaves/Valverde etc didn't attack yet, but so far Kruijswijk is looking surprisingly strong.

    Horrible crash in the Tour of Belgium with, again, two motorcycles. Apparently they were riding on a path to the side of the road, which suddenly ended, resulting in them suddenly being in the mud. Because of that they lost the control of their motorbikes and "flew" into the peloton. Reports are saying around 20 riders were hit and 11 are transferred to a hospital. Stig Broeckx (BEL, Lotto-Soudal) is apparently the worst hit rider: some are saying he has been resuscitated and moved to the Aachen hospital by trauma helicopter.

    There were doubts whether or not there would be a Holland Heineken House again this year, but luckily Heineken came out pretty quickly saying something like "Of course there will be!" It's always cool to see the reports of the medal celebration there, because athletes are celebrated better than at the official medal ceremonies

    Well, congratulations lucky Nibali. Hopefully at least Chaves can keep his lead tomorrow. What an absolute nightmare day it was.

    But if he wanted someone in the breakaway at the time he crashed, someone should have been in good enough shape to even get to that point and I don't think Lotto has anyone who could have done that Apart from that, Lotto's team leaders are usually not exactly geniuses when it comes to strategy, so yeah. "We should prepare ourselves well for these final stages so we can be prepared for every scenario, because we have to be prepared for that so we have to prepare ourselves for all situations", are the smart words of a couple of days ago.

    GPS says the difference is 30 seconds, but we know how reliable the Giro d'Italia GPS usually is...

    I'm not sure it's a mistake, I'm mostly thinking it's just a matter of not being good enough. Only Battaglin might be in good enough shape to do so, but he is the only one who can help Kruijswijk on the climbs so he can't get in a breakaway. Don't forget Lotto is basically just a quite mediocre team
